Sam Hatmaker grew up performing in shows at Dollywood and in the Pigeon Forge area. It wasn’t until the age of 11 when she was cast in Elwood Smooch’s Choo Choo Boogie Variety Show that she discovered her deep love of country music. Among her many influences are Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Merle Haggard, Chris Stapleton, Johnny Cash, and her first crush Kenny Rogers. Sam began writing songs when she was 8 and taught herself to play guitar when she was 11. She currently lives in Nashville and has been signed to Warner/Chappell Music for the past 3 years.
