Sam Hatmaker

Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival, Sam Hatmaker, Songwriter, Gatlinburg, TNSam Hatmaker is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter who signed with Warner/Chappell Music in Nashville in January.  Highlights of her many performance credits including playing The Bluebird Cafe, Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville as part of Song Suffragettes, Nashville’s 3rd and Lindsley as part of Music In Motion, The Acoustic Nation Stage during Summer NAMM at Music City Center in Nashville, The Basement in Nashville, the VIP Tent at the Tate and Lyle Amphitheater for a Travis Tritt concert; opening for Mindy Smith; numerous appearances in The Performing Writer Series at The Fillin’ Station in Kingston Springs and at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge; playing Knoxville’s Dogwood Arts Festival, Concert on the Square Series, and The Square Room; playing for the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon and the Asheville, North Carolina Marathon; being a guest on the WDVX Blue Plate Special; as well as being twice selected for Decked Out (honoring female songwriters) at Loew’s Vanderbilt Hotel and being invited to perform her own 2-hour solo acoustic concert as part of the Clayton Arts Center’s Cozy Winter Nights Series, making her the youngest performer to be featured in any series at the Arts Center.  Sam is honored to once again be part of the Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival in Gatlinburg.
