bio of
Aaron Barker

Aaron Barker was born in San Antonio, TX and began his musical career in a “Variety “Band”. His background and knack for honest, hearfelt communication molded Barker into a songwriter of depth and power, as well as making him a dynamic entertainer.
Aaron has written lots of George Straits songs: "Baby Blue", "Love Without End, Amen", "Down Louisiana Way...", "I'll Be Lovin You", I Would Like To Have That One Back", and "I Know She Still Loves Me". Other artists include "Honky Tonkin Fool" and "Not Enough Hours In The Night" by Doug Supernaw, "Watch This" and "You're Beginning To Get To Me" by Clay Walker, "What About Now" and "Love Happens Like That" by Aaron Tipton, and "The Questionaire" by Tracy Lawrence. Barker says. His songs are real stories about real people.
For all you Southerners Aaron writes the Blue Bell Ice Cream commercials - "Have Yourself a Blue Bell Country Day" and "The Good Ol' Duo". In March of 2002, Aaron released a gift book written about his #1 Hit “Love Without End, Amen”. The book carries a simple, timeless and universal theme ‘a parent’s love for a child is truly unconditional.
