Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival
The Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival is taking submissions from bands who write and perform all original songs.
Deadline for submission extended to: June 20, 2013.
Submission fee $10.

on the stage with 30 other talented original bands. No cover bands.

Selected bands will have the opportunity to perform two songs in a battle of the bands in front of a panel of A&R Reps, record labels, publishers, booking agents and other music industry pros.
Each day, the top 3 bands will move forward to the next round and will have the opportunity to perform another two songs during the end of the day showcase. The daily winners will also qualify for the final playoff round of competition that will take place on the last day of the SMSWF, Sunday August 18th.
All music styles are welcomed.
The top 3 winning bands on Sunday at the final playoff will receive select prizes from Ernie Ball Music Man, plus various coveted industry prizes to be announced later.
Last year SMSWF had so many stage requests for bands with original music that we decided to make this possible during the Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival Aug. 15-18, 2013.
The SMSWF is a festival focused on songwriters and bands with all original content. SMSWF encourages growth and talent in the music industry. The SMSWF also focuses on the heritage of music in the great State of Tennessee, Appalachian Mountain Range and the Smoky Mountains.
The SMSWF is held throughout the City of Gatlinburg, TN. The public is invited to attend these free live music venues where songwriters and bands with original music are performing. There will also be workshops for songwriters to participate in.
The SMSWF is an excellent opportunity for songwriters and bands, both new and established to network with award winning Artists and Songwriters, radio producers, booking agencies, publishers, and other industry pros. |
