Teresa Wright, songwriter, singer, guitarist started with her first “biggest” opportunity right here in the Great Smoky Mountains where she and co-writer Carla Bryant were selected to open shows for original “The Voice” Vern Gosdin. Gosdin started the “If You Gonna Do Me Wrong, Do It Right” Tour at the Smoky Mountain Music Barn in Pigeon Forge, where Wright played acoustic guitar and sang the high harmonies with Vern, while Bryant was on the drums. The rest of the band were Nashville Studio Pickers. Teresa lived in Gatlinburg during the tour season and from Georgia to Home in Alabama, continued her songwriting and co-writing, and have had over 50,000 internet hits with indie charted “Crawl” on iHeart Radio, and currenly have 5 songs on MAVTV’s National TV show “Gearheads”, with current submissions to IHRA Nitro Jame Series on MAVTV. Teresa was an attendee at the 1st Smoky Mountain Songwriting Festival and attended the Hillbilly Culture Songwriting Workshop and is a current member of Amanda William’s SongwritingandMusicBusiness.com Community. Upbeat country, songwriting, and Story telling songs are Teresa’s Favorite, and of course she loves East Tennessee Bluegrass!
