Summerlyn Powers

As a young songwriter, Summerlyn Powers tells stories beyond her years. Taking

musical influence from many artists like Joni Mitchell and the Beatles, her songwriting skills and unique voice are a blast from the past. You’ll feel welcome to laugh along to quirky lyrics as well as metaphorical folk songs throughout her show.

Summerlyn has been a part of Frank Brown Songwriters Festival,

Mississippi Songwriters festival and the National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores, AL.  She ranked in the top 15 at the Gulf Coast Songwriter Shootout and was chosen to perform in Mobile’s South Sounds this year.  

Her first single’s music video, “Alabama Kinda Girl” features legendary music star Pam Tillis.

Summerlyn’s 2nd EP, produced by grammy award winner Andy Hunt, is set to be

released in 2018.
