Scott Parker has been writing songs and performing since high school, growing up in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains. After learning the music business at Belmont University, he was privileged to work in music publishing with some of Nashville’s most gifted songwriters. Feeling the call to missions, he and his wife Becky spent a few years in South America before returning to their roots in East Tennessee. The last few years have seen him writing predominantly about his faith and the unending love God has for us all. His music has been compared to Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin and Michael W. Smith, with a little James Taylor mixed in. Becky has an amazing voice with echoes of Amy Grant and Karen Carpenter. Currently performing as a couple, Scott and Becky have released their first album of all original material, “When God Dreams.” They have 3 children and call OliverSprings, TN their home.
