She says “The Pioneers of Country Music speak volumes to me.” Her family and friends describe her as having an “old soul.” She started playing guitar and wrote her first song at the age of twelve. She has been performing since she was four. After graduating high school in 2016, Joybeth did what she said she was going to do since the age of fourteen. She left her birthplace of Pelham, AL, and moved to her new home in Nashville, TN
