Catalina Gonzalez is a Chilean singer/songwriter based out of the area of New Haven, CT. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Catalina began singing and performing when she was 5 years old and songwriting at the age of 12. Today, Catalina has greatly developed her craft and it is seen reflected through her powerful, vocal prowess, soulful writing and overall soundscape creations. She manages to intertwine and compliment a potluck of genres that she is influenced by, thus making her own style of music rooted in pop, soul and blues. The molding of these different sounds showcases her versatility, musicianship and artistry. This upcoming artist has played at venues such as The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, the Millennium Music Conference in PA, and at the Smoky Mountains Songwriter Festival in Gatlinburg, TN, where she won the Band Playoff in 2014. With 3 EP releases under her belt, Catalina is ready to share her debut full-length album to continue furthering her career and her reach across the United States.

“In The Midst Of A War” was released in December 2015 and has since been on rotation in 50+ non-commercial radio stations across the country. Its rhythm-driven single, “Lips Whisper” is accompanied by an eye-catching music video with over 11K views on YouTube and Facebook that Catalina created with the help of Springwood Productions. She has most recently performed with her band at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas 2016 in New Haven, Connecticut and is a semi-finalist for the Unsigned Only Song Competition 2016. Catalina never stops working and having fun, so you can definitely catch her in some shape, way or form, in a city near you!
