Covering the basics of writing songs for the current Bluegrass market. Plan to cover both the “Creative” side AND the “Business” side of the genre. Panelists will be answering any and all questions ranging from actual structure, rhyme scheme, etc. used in today’s commercial Bluegrass music, to important information about the “commerce” side, including publishing and pitching of your Bluegrass songs. The last thirty (30) minutes of workshop will include a “mini” concert by panelists to highlight examples of successful Bluegrass songs that are working (and have worked) in the current market.
